What is DigiTIPii? DigiTIPii is a simple digital tipping platform that makes it easy to recognise and reward people for the service they provide. Tap a DigiTIPii wristband with your phone, choose an amount and send your tip securely. No cash. No awkwardness. Just a simple way to say, “I see you. Thank you.”
Who can become a TIPii? Anyone who provides a service and would like to receive digital tips can become a TIPii. Car guards, petrol attendants, waiters, cleaners, game rangers, porters, delivery workers, informal service providers and many others can use DigiTIPii. DigiTIPii isn't about defining people by what they do. It is about recognising what they contribute. Every person. Every role. Every contribution has value.
How does a TIPii receive and manage their tips? Each TIPii receives a unique TIPii number linked to their DigiTIPii wristband and MYTIPii Wallet. When someone taps the wristband and sends a tip, the TIPii receives notification of the tip and can track their tips, view their balance and manage withdrawals through MYTIPii. The person giving the tip doesn't need the TIPii's banking details. Receive. Track. Withdraw.
What does sponsorship provide? Sponsorship provides someone with a DigiTIPii wristband, giving them the means to receive digital tips for the service they provide. Individuals can sponsor one or more wristbands, while businesses and organisations can enable larger numbers of people within their communities. Sponsorship provides the opportunity to participate. What happens from there belongs to the TIPii: their work, their contribution and their tips remain their own. A sponsor enables. A TIPii earns.
Is DigiTIPii safe and secure? Yes. DigiTIPii is designed so that tipping is simple, private and secure. The wristband is linked to the TIPii through their unique TIPii number. Personal banking information does not need to be shared with the person giving the tip. Payments are processed securely, and TIPiis manage their tips through MYTIPii. Sponsors do not control or have access to a TIPii's earnings. Your information stays private. Your tips remain yours.
